Dr. Omid Kiarash brings a distinguished international and academic background to our periodontics team. He is the former President of the Canadian Academy of Periodontology and served as Chair of Periodontics at McGill University, where he led departmental training and clinical care. Dr. Kiarash is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and was recognized with the American Academy of Periodontology Award for Excellence in Teaching. He also chaired the Predoctoral Directors Organization of the American Academy of Periodontology, helping shape periodontal education in dental schools.
More About Dr. Kiarash
Dr. Kiarash earned both his Master’s in Periodontics and Dental Implantology and his specialty training at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Over the years, he has presented at numerous national and international conferences and teaches live hands‑on workshop courses for dentists on advanced surgical techniques and protocols for managing soft and hard tissue around teeth and implants.
In addition to maintaining his private practice, Dr. Kiarash founded Zeeba Advanced Dental Education on Montreal’s South Shore, where he trains dental professionals and continues to advance the field through education.
Dr. Kiarash is also deeply committed to humanitarian service. He has organized and participated in multiple outreach missions to rural Jamaica, providing care to underserved children and families in need. These experiences reflect his passion for using dentistry as a vehicle to improve lives beyond the clinic.
Outside of his clinical and academic commitments, Dr. Kiarash values quality time with his wife, Sara, and their son, Aaron. Whenever possible, he enjoys being with family between patient care and lecturing in different cities across North America.
